Overview

NavOn provides comprehensive assessments of children, youth, and adults when there are concerns about learning. These are often called ‘psycho-educational assessments.’ They reveal how people learn and why a child might struggle at school or an adult might struggle at work. Learning assessments might also identify a learning disability, a developmental disability, giftedness, or ADHD.

What is the process?

Learning assessments usually require 3 appointments where the client completes cognitive and academic testing and clinical interviews. We review any relevant documents and observations. Then we hold a feedback meeting to share the results of the assessment with the client and provide them with a comprehensive report that includes tailored recommendations.

What is the cost?

Costs for a learning assessment are typically estimated at $3000 but could cost more or less depending on your questions. Half of the assessment cost is billed prior to the first appointment and the rest is billed at the end prior to feedback.

NavOn accepts payment by e-transfer, cheque, credit card (2.4% surcharge applies for credit card payments).
